A remote posting allows the job to be done remotely from the US. It does not mean that the role can be done from any country, or that travel is absent. A remote posting can still name a required work region, customer visits, or another travel expectation. Read the location and travel language in the original posting before treating “remote” as a complete description of the job.
To compare a remote role with another offer, record the level, salary range, bonus, equity, work region, and travel terms separately. Ask which level and location band applies to you, and ask about equity vesting and valuation assumptions before comparing total value.
Browse the current remote FDE postings, then confirm salary and working conditions with the employer. Nextmove’s method and source notes explain how postings and salary ranges are read.
