Your data and how we use it.
What we collect
The files you upload: resume, LinkedIn export, essays, whatever you bring. What you write: intake answers, corrections to your mirror, notes on your board. The state of that board: jobs you save, the scores, the stages. Your email and sign-in identity, handled by Clerk. Your email and LinkedIn link if you ask for an invitation. Your email if you ask for a link to use Nextmove on desktop.
If you send a hiring inquiry, Nextmove collects your name, email, company, the role you want to hire for, hiring details and any job link you provide.
What we do with it
If you request a desktop link, we use your email to send that link through Resend. This does not create an account or subscribe you to the waitlist.
For the candidate experience, we use your information to read you back, generate your picks, and keep your board. To do that, your text is sent to OpenRouter, the model gateway, and to our own search backend.
Hiring inquiries are used to review your needs and follow up about recruiting. The form does not create an account or subscribe you to marketing emails. The Nextmove team can read your inquiry in a private admin screen. An internal Slack notification links to that screen without including your form answers.
We don't sell it. We don't use it to train our own models. We don't post it anywhere public.
Where it lives
On infrastructure we run: Fly.io for the app, Cloudflare R2 for your files. This is in early access, not a hardened production system. Don't upload anything you would not want a third-party AI provider to process.
Hiring inquiries are stored in the application database and its backups. Submitting the hiring form does not send its contents to an AI provider.
Your control
Export everything as a zip at any time from the finish screen. Reset wipes the data stored for your account. Signing out ends the session. Email us and we'll delete your data for good.
Hiring inquiries are separate from candidate accounts. To request deletion of a hiring inquiry, email info@nextmove.md from the address you used in the form.
Changes and contact
This is an early beta, so this page can change. The date above is the last update. Questions or a deletion request: info@nextmove.md.
Chrome extension
Nextmove Apply Assist reads the URL and form fields on supported job application pages so it can place answers you prepared in Nextmove. It sends field identifiers, the application URL, and fill outcomes to Nextmove to match your preparation, validate the result, and improve reliability. It never submits an application.
Answer values are transmitted when you ask the extension to fill a form. A value you select directly on an application site is stored for future use only after you explicitly choose to remember it. Passive reliability logs exclude answer values. Extension data is used only to provide and improve Apply Assist; it is not sold or used for advertising.
