Forward deployed engineering · United States
Sources and method
Listings come from employer careers pages. Each role links to its original posting.
Which jobs are included
The catalog covers US FDE and related roles. Jobs can qualify through their responsibilities even when their title does not mention FDE. A generic “Remote” location is not enough to establish US eligibility.
An automated model reads the duties and classifies the work using evidence from the posting. Uncertain results and jobs without supporting evidence are withheld. Classifications and extracted details can still contain errors.
The job list prioritizes FDE relevance and varies the companies shown. Filters let you compare similar kinds of work. Coverage depends on the sources collected and is not a count of every US opening.
What counts as a related role?
Related work includes deployment strategy, implementation, technical pre-sales, customer adoption and internal deployment. Team leadership qualifies when it manages an included function.
Internal deployment means implementing software, AI or data workflows for business, scientific, clinical or other operating teams. It also includes tools built for FDE or customer deployment teams. Ordinary product development and routine employee IT alone do not qualify. Not every included role requires coding or external customer contact.
Freshness and accuracy
The source date shows when the catalog’s source data was observed. It is not the original posting date or confirmation that each job is still open. Changed descriptions are classified again. If recent usable data is unavailable, the current job list is withheld.
Removed roles may be closed or outside the selection criteria. Their pages retain the last observed details for reference and are excluded from search indexing. A removal does not establish that someone was hired.
Summaries, locations, levels and pay are extracted from postings. Confirm current details with the employer.
What a listing does not establish
- An employer listing does not mean Nextmove works with that company or can arrange an introduction.
- Advertised pay is not an offer, observed employee pay or a market average.
- Career guides help you compare experience. They do not predict eligibility or career outcomes.
- Illustrative candidate examples are not people available for introduction.
