“Hybrid” describes the work arrangement recorded in the posting. It does not specify how often someone must be in an office, which office applies, or how much travel the job requires. Read the employer’s location and attendance language. A role can be hybrid and still require a particular metro area or customer travel.
When you compare a hybrid role, write down the salary range, level, office location, expected in-office schedule, travel terms, bonus, and equity. Confirm which range applies to your location. A range shown in a public posting is not an offer until the employer confirms the terms for your level and situation.
