How to read a technology mention
For example, a Google Cloud GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer posting requires experience shipping production AI or software using Python, C++, TypeScript, or comparable languages. Its preferred qualifications separately mention model fine-tuning and advanced generative-media techniques. This is one role’s requirement, not a definition of every FDE job. The FDE jobs list lets you inspect the source posting for the technologies that matter to you.
Technology is only one part of the job
If you are preparing for a role, start with the work the posting asks you to do. Then check which language, cloud platform, data system, or AI technique supports that work.
