FDE jobs for new graduates

If you are finishing school or have recently graduated, start with the work described in the posting. A title such as “new grad” is useful evidence, but it does not tell you whether the role is a software engineering role, a customer delivery role, or a mix of both.

Nextmove’s jobs list has a keyword search for “new grad”. Examples include a C3.ai Forward Deployed Engineer, New Grad 2027, with a posted base range of $120,000–$150,000 in Redwood City, California, and a Retell AI Forward Deployed Engineer, New Grad, with a salary range of $150,000–$250,000 in Redwood City. These are examples from the live list, not a promise that the postings remain open or that their requirements are interchangeable.

The junior filter is a separate way to look for early-career work. Nextmove reads responsibility level from the posting. “Junior” is therefore a useful starting point, but it is not the same as “new graduate.” A junior posting can ask for prior experience, and a new-graduate posting can describe substantial customer or production responsibility.

Before applying, check four things in the original posting:

• whether students, recent graduates, or a graduation year are named;
• what you will build or operate, and whether customers are part of the work;
• which programming, data, cloud, or communication experience is required;
• where the job can be performed and whether the employer states travel or work authorization terms.

The list can show a requirement only when the posting states it or when Nextmove’s reading identifies it. If the posting does not mention prior experience, that is unknown. It is not evidence that no experience is required. If the posting does not mention travel, remote work, or visa sponsorship, those conditions are also unknown. Confirm them with the employer.
