What junior means here
Junior is Nextmove's reading of the responsibility described in a posting. It is not a universal title and it does not mean new graduate. Some employers use another title for early-career work. Others do not state a clear level. Read the responsibilities, required experience, customer contact, and production expectations before deciding whether the role is junior for you.
The current junior FDE jobs show the postings behind the live salary view. Ask which responsibilities make the role junior, who reviews the work, and whether the role includes customer-facing delivery, production code, or both. Check which experience is required and which is preferred.
Confirm whether the range changes by work location and ask how bonus and equity are handled. When the responsibilities appear broader than the title suggests, compare the role with mid-level FDE salary.
