Mid Level Forward Deployed Software Engineer Remote: Must reside in Arlington, Virginia or surrounding area Reports to: Echo Direct reports: None. Travel: 0-10% The Role As a Mid-Level Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will contribute directly to the development and delivery of Army Vantage capabilities. You will build analytical dashboard features, support CI/CD pipeline tasks, and work within a structured agile environment alongside senior engineers and government stakeholders. You will operate in two-week sprint cycles, contributing to feature delivery from design through deployment. At our organization, an FDE takes ownership of their work — building reliable features, writing meaningful code, and ensuring each sprint increment is production-ready.
