The job description from Lio

The Opportunity
AI is transforming how the world’s largest enterprises operate.
At Lio, we’re building THE AI workforce for procurement.
As our first AI Deployment Strategist in the US, you’ll bring AI Agents into real enterprise operations and drive measurable impact for Fortune 500 customers.
This is your chance to join Lio at the very beginning of our US expansion — owning critical customer deployments from day one and helping build our US business from the ground up.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Own end-to-end enterprise implementations from kick-off to successful go-live
- Translate customer requirements into scalable implementation plans and solution designs
- Act as the primary project owner and trusted advisor for DAX and Fortune 500 customers
- Coordinate Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure seamless execution
- Proactively manage timelines, risks, stakeholder communication, and escalations
- Turn customer feedback into actionable product improvements
- Build scalable implementation processes and playbooks that enable future growth
- Help establish Lio's implementation function in the US and shape how we serve American enterprise customers as we scale
Your Profile
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Have experience in software implementations, customer success, implementation consulting, or technical project management.
- Take ownership by default. You enjoy driving projects from start to finish and making customers successful.
- Communicate with confidence. You build trust with enterprise customers and coordinate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Stay structured under complexity. Managing multiple stakeholders, timelines, and priorities is something you enjoy.
- Think in solutions. You understand customer challenges and translate them into scalable implementation approaches.
- Are curious about AI and excited about helping enterprises adopt a new generation of software.
What's not required
You don't need previous procurement experience or deep technical expertise.
We're much more interested in ownership, structured thinking, customer empathy, and your ability to deliver successful enterprise implementations than in having the perfect background
.
Why Join Lio?
Lio is backed by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and built at Y Combinator. We're bringing Silicon Valley ambition and speed to Munich while building one of Europe's leading AI companies.
From day one, you'll work with Fortune 500 companies across Europe and the US, helping bring AI into real enterprise operations. You'll have real ownership, work closely with Product and Engineering, and directly influence how our platform evolves through customer feedback.
If you're excited about solving complex customer challenges and helping shape the future of enterprise AI, we'd love to hear from you.
