What you’ll do

  • Design and operate enterprise AI platforms, services, integrations, and governance capabilities.
  • Build and deploy secure AI applications, copilots, agent workflows, and RAG solutions.
  • Implement identity, access, auditing, data protection, and compliance controls.
  • Establish evaluation, monitoring, testing, and production reliability practices.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years building and operating production software platforms or Azure/AWS cloud solutions, including 2+ years supporting production LLM applications.
  • Strong software engineering and cloud skills, including Python, CI/CD, containers, Terraform, version control, observability, and secure deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise AI application delivery, prompt engineering, tool calling, evaluation, and agentic workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing RAG, including ingestion, embeddings, vector search, re-ranking, grounding, and output evaluation.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Boston, MA is $111,040 - $138,800 per year. The salary range is commensurate with Foundation Medicine’s compensation practice and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for Foundation Medicine's benefits.
