We define and measure the health of the Windows ecosystem by transforming device telemetry and diagnostic signals into actionable insights and engineering improvements. We are seeking a Software Engineer II to build data-driven solutions that reveal how Windows devices behave at enterprise scale in commercial landscape. You will develop metrics, analytics, and system improvements that help teams detect regressions, prioritize investments, and deliver measurable gains in Windows Fundamentals. Responsibilities Define meaningful Windows Fundamentals metrics and success criteria for reliability, performance, battery life, and sustainability. Analyze fleet telemetry, diagnostic signals, and traces to identify trends, anomalies, regressions, and customer impact. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
