Senior AI Software Engineer — T. Rowe Price Lab (NY or MD)

What you’ll do

• Design and deliver production-grade AI agents and intelligent systems end to end.
• Build agentic workflows using orchestration, tool integration, retrieval, structured outputs, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Lead AI workstreams from experimentation and validation through production adoption.
• Establish evaluation, testing, monitoring, and reliability practices for non-deterministic AI systems.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building AI-enabled applications, intelligent workflows, or agentic systems with modern LLMs and AI frameworks.
• Experience taking AI systems from prototypes into production, including testing, monitoring, security, and operations.
