Job Description: The Resident Engineer (RE) is a highly technical, customer‑facing role providing post‑sales, on‑site technical support for Juniper Networks products/solutions deployed within Charter Communications (Spectrum). This role partners closely with Charter’s Network Engineering, Architecture, and Operations teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and operational excellence across large‑scale service provider networks. Role Responsibilities: Provide day‑to‑day post‑sales operational support for production and pre‑production Charter network environments. Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues across large‑scale IP/MPLS infrastructures. Open, manage, and drive Juniper JTAC cases to resolution, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Support Charter during critical incidents, outages, and escalation scenarios, communicating clearly with engineering, operations, and leadership teams. Assess overall network health and stability across Juniper‑based environments. Develop and maintain fault isolation and diagnostic procedures.
