Senior Business Operations Analyst

Job Description: The Senior IT Business Analyst is a member of the IT organization reporting under the VP/Director of Application Service Delivery. Under limited direction, this position is responsible to document business requirements, perform problem analysis and support changes to existing business processes for four or more business areas. Ability to manage small-size projects (up to 150 hours of effort) including scope, schedule, resources, cost, and risks. Prepare and present information to peers. Responsibilities: Obtain a deep understanding of four or more business area(s) to be able to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements. Assist faciliatation to understand business requirements with a variety of techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards. Shape business requirements by assisting in recommendations and participating in alternatives to proposed solutions. Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements. Work with business and delivery teams to prioritize requirements. Manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery process. Create and validate artifacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope documentation, and process flows.
