Security Technical Specialist – Specialist Senior/Principal

Job Summary This position is responsible for the protection of AEP’s sensitive data through monitoring, configuration, investigation, and response. A specialist in this position will be responsible for creating, testing, and implementing data protection strategies and policies. A specialist will be responsible for data protection software deployment and remediation. This position requires adherence to policy and regulation compliance as well as maintaining strict confidentiality and integrity. A specialist must also be willing to support the team through on-call rotation, change request representation (TOR and CAB), and collaboration with Security and Technology teams.
