Position Summary Gotion is seeking a motivated Solution Engineer – Battery Energy Storage Systems to join its U.S. Solution Engineering team at the Manteno, Illinois facility. This position will report directly to the Director of Solution Engineering and support the development of safe, reliable, technically compliant, and commercially competitive battery energy storage system solutions. Key Responsibilities BESS Solution Development Support the development of technical solutions for utility-scale and C&I battery energy storage projects. Perform preliminary battery, power conversion system (AC/DC), MVT/HVT, auxiliary-load/ Trans, and balance-of-plant sizing. Review project requirements, including power, energy, operating duration, ambient conditions, elevation, degradation, efficiency, and project life. Support the sales team during customer discussions and proposal development.
