Navigation Software Engineer

Blue Origin’s Advance Concepts - Flight Systems group is seeking a top tier Software Verification Engineer. As part of a hardworking team of specialists, you will be supporting aspects of verification, validation, and development for current and future spaceflight navigation systems. This position will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe, low cost, and repeatable spaceflight and will directly shape the future of space exploration. Effective use of software configuration management, source control, DevSecOps, CI/CD, etc. Communicates with customers and stakeholders to establish requirements and describe the design and status of deliverables. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of BS degree in Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience software verification and validation. Detailed knowledge of DO-178C and/or NASA NPR 7150.2 Software development skills in all or several programming languages including: C, C++, MATLAB, Python, and Rust.
