Sr Mechanical/Project Engineer - Integration

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. Sr Mechanical/Project Engineer - Integration As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you will serve in a dual capacity, hands-on mechanical designer and primary point of contact for planning, coordinating, and executing the integration, testing, activation, and handoff of ground mechanical systems for Blue Origin’s launch site at LC-36 (Cape Canaveral, FL). This role requires equal competency in design and cross-functional coordination. Lead formal handoff of commissioned systems to operations, ensure all documentation, as-built records, and acceptance test results are complete and accepted. Minimum Qualifications (required): Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar disciplines. 10+ years experience with a strong background in design/analysis/construction of large and complex mechanical systems (e.g. launch vehicle GSE and mechanisms, aerospace tooling, oil & gas mechanical systems, etc). Demonstrated competency in both design and systems integration/activation. Demonstrated hands-on experience managing complex mechanical systems integration, testing, and activation.
