This position is responsible for leading and delivering SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) solutions in a manufacturing environment. The Senior SAP PP/QM Consultant will act as the key liaison between business users, plant operations, and Group IT, ensuring that SAP PP/QM processes are designed, implemented, stabilized, and continuously improved to support 24x7 manufacturing operations. Primary Responsibilities: Lead SAP PP and QM functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment for manufacturing plants, including new implementations, carve-outs, and rollouts. Serve as the primary functional owner for SAP PP and QM modules, covering end-to-end processes such as: Production planning and execution (MPS, MRP, production orders, confirmations, backflushing) BOMs, routings, work centers, and capacity planning Quality inspection processes (incoming, in-process, and final inspection) Inspec [... source excerpt omitted ...] characteristics, usage decisions, quality notifications, and defects management Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to understand business requirements, identify process gaps, and translate them into SAP solutions. Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documentation, SOPs, and training materials for PP and QM processes.
