About the Job Blackbird is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own Flycar, our restaurant payments terminal used by thousands of restaurant [... source excerpt omitted ...] ice, where downtime means a dining room that can't close checks. This is a Next.js/TypeScript monorepo powering multiple apps across payments, loyalty, and restaurant operations. You'll work primarily in Flycar but contribute across the platform. Responsibilities Own end-to-end development of Flycar - UI, API integration, WebSocket flows, and fallback handling when things go wrong Build interfaces that work reliably across FSR and QSR environments with inconsistent hardware, spotty networks, and dozens of POS configurations Drive frontend architecture decisions — you'll shape how we build, not just what we build Debug real-time payment flows that span our terminal, mobile
