Software Engineer Principal (Java FullStack/ETL/API)

As a Software Engineer Principal within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Architecture • Lead the design and implementation of end to end application solutions using Angular, Java, and Informatica. • Serve as the technical authority for application architecture, design patterns, and integration approaches. • Review and approve technical designs, code changes, and data integration logic to ensure quality and consistency. • Guide teams on best practices for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability. Application Development & Delivery • Hands on development and oversight of: o Angular based UI components and client side architecture o Java back end services, APIs, and business logic o Informatica mappings, workflows, and data pipelines • Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Ensure timely delivery of features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
