QCS Project Engineer

This position reports to: QCS Operations Manager __ In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: Onsite in Westerville, OH (Columbus market) with up to 50% travel required. #LI-Onsite You will be mainly accountable for: Provide technical sales support by developing hardware solutions, integration strategies, and system designs for ABB Quality Control System (QCS) opportunities and upgrades. Lead project planning and execution activities, including installation and commissioning plans, hardware procurement, resource coordination, and schedule management. Design, test, and implement QCS hardware solutions, including electrical documentation, system integration testing, and customer acceptance activities.
