What you will be doing: Building and scaling Python services that power our flight dynamics pipelines Optimizing and refactoring existing systems for performance and maintainability Building internal tools and dashboards for mission operations Coordinate with multiple teams across the company (FSW, AIT, Mission Ops, etc.) to gather requirements and feature requests to be implemented What you bring to this role: 4+ years of professional software engineering experience Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar) Strong Python skills with a server-side framework (Django, FastAPI, or similar) Worked with relational databases (Postgres) and data stores like S3 or InfluxDB Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Familiarity with CI/CD systems (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar) Comfortable working in codebases with domain-specific complexity Bonus: Charting libraries for telemetry visualization (Chart.js, Plotly, Grafana) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Exposure to aerospace, satellite operations, or orbital mechanics concepts Additional Requirements This is a fast-paced, high-impact environment - flexibility to occasionally work extended hours or weekends during critical periods is expected.
