We're growing our forward-deployed team and looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who will help our largest enterprise customers turn Sigma into business results. You'll join a hands-on team with a shared mission: make data genuinely easy to use, and prove it out inside the accounts that matter most. The Sigma Forward Deployed Engineer believes in the power of analytics to transform organizations and uncover new data insights. You'll act as the trusted technical advisor to our customers, embedding with their teams to learn how they run the business and building the workbooks, data apps, input tables, and automated workflows that solve their hardest problems. Working in tandem with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering, you'll own the deliverables you're responsible for with each group, accountable for the technical work that takes a customer from kickoff to a live, production deployment. Embed with customer teams. Uncover the business problem behind each request, then design and build the right solution in Sigma: workbooks, data apps, input tables, and automated workflows on live warehouse data. Build solutions teams depend on. Ship production-grade work that real users rely on every day, and incorporate the latest-and-greatest of the Sigma platform to drive new feature adoption. Watch performance in production. Catch query performance, data accuracy, and governance issues early, and resolve them before they reach the customer's users. Escalate issues and needs, and document them. Surface technical blockers, integration gaps, and customer requests to the right internal team, and document them clearly so they can be tracked, prioritized, and resolved with full context. Turn what works into reusable assets. Write implementation guides, build solution templates, and codify deployment patterns the whole field team can reuse.
