About the Role The Systems Integration team at Base is responsible for ensuring our power systems, inverters, and batteries work together as one reliable product in the real world. As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will establish and lead the software-driven integration function, building the tools, pipelines, and team that allow Base to bring hardware, firmware, and software together into trusted, high-quality products at scale. You will work closely with R&D, Firmware, and Quality Engineering to define how our systems should integrate end-to-end, and then prove it through rigorous, software-driven test and integration frameworks. Required Skills / Qualifications: A systems-level mindset and passion for integrating hardware, firmware, and software into reliable, resilient products. 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on systems integration, distributed systems, or embedded/software interfaces for hardware products. Expertise building integration test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and tooling that validate multi-subsystem software and hardware interactions.
