Job Description Job Title: Technical Consultant Location: New York City, NY Type: Contract to Hire Length: 3 months Job Description: Description/Comment:The Technical Consultant will be responsible for identifying, documenting and validating end-to-end business needs across current and future state solutions to meet Client required digital (TranZform) solution. Candidate must possess a strong knowledge and experience in the healthcare payer space, with practiced knowledge in working with payer constituents (brokers, members, providers, employers and agencies). * Must possess a strong knowledge of the EDI processes used in healthcare (HIPAA formats) , must understand the implementation life cycle supporting a phased go live for multiple products across various customer product lines (programs); must understand payer business cycles and development approaches, and must understand how to integrate various technologies. Periodically checks status of project with client and team to assess project against plan. • Participates in technical assessment initiatives producing feasibility and recommendation documents. • Assists in estimating timeframe, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project.
