If you thrive on building in the field, solving critical problems, and working side-by-side with analysts and operators, we want to hear from you. ### Key Qualifications - 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on full-stack or systems-level development. - Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages. - Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), APIs, and modern front-end frameworks. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deploy in fast-paced environments. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving mission contexts. - Willingness to travel 30–70% of the time based on mission requirements. - Active Level 3 security clearance or eligibility to obtain one strongly preferred. ### Description As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be on the front lines of technical delivery—partnering directly with customers to tailor Strider’s platform to their specific mission needs. Your role will span engineering execution and mission integration, requiring technical depth, situational awareness, and operational agility.
