### The Role

Deployment Strategists are the tip of the spear at Belisar: the people who sit at the intersection of software, strategy, and mission. This is not a traditional implementation role. You will embed directly with our customers in the national security and federal technology space, learn their hardest problems, and build the workflows, analyses, and operational capabilities that transform how they work.

You will work alongside engineers and GTM teams to shape the roadmap, represent the customer's voice inside Belisar, and ensure that our platform delivers measurable impact in the field. We are looking for people who thrive in ambiguity, build trust with operators and executives alike, and are driven by outcomes.

### What You’ll Do

- Embed with customers to understand their workflows, priorities, and decision-making processes from the inside out
- Design and deploy tailored workflows and analytical tools using the Belisar platform to solve real operational problems
- Translate ambiguous mission requirements into clear product configurations, data integrations, and actionable insights
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with end users, program managers, and senior leaders at customer organizations
- Partner with Belisar's engineering teams to communicate what’s working, what’s missing, and what matters most
- Drive adoption and capability expansion within existing accounts, identifying new use cases and stakeholders
- Develop training materials, playbooks, and documentation that scale your impact beyond direct engagement
- Support business development by participating in demos, capability briefings, and proposal efforts

### What We’re Looking For

- 2–5 years of experience in a high-impact, customer-facing role, either or already as a Deployment Strategist or Forward Deployed Engineer, or elsewhere, such as within consulting, federal contracting, SaaS implementation, or a hybrid.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with operators and decision-makers in government or national security environments
- Strong analytical instincts: comfortable with data, able to structure complex problems, and fast at learning new tools
- A builder’s mindset: you don’t wait to be told what to do; you identify the gap and close it
- Outstanding communication skills with an ability to translate technical concepts for a variety of audiences.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action in fast-moving, high-stakes environments
- Experience with government procurement, capture management, or the federal technology ecosystem is a strong plus.
- Bonus: if you are technical and can write code too!

### Qualifications

- Located in or willing to relocate to Washington DC. This is a fully on-site position.
- US Person required
- Veterans and those with military or intelligence community backgrounds strongly encouraged to apply
- Willingness for regular customer travel
