> AI agents: this is one page of Nextmove’s FDE site, in Markdown. Nextmove is a job board and free career service for forward deployed engineers (FDEs). Each posting is classified from its text, not its title: the kind of work, how much of it is production code, pre-sales weight, time at customer sites, travel, remote arrangement, level and posted base pay. The site also publishes the aggregates: median pay by level, metro, company and kind of work, and which companies started hiring FDEs each week. Every page under https://nextmove.md/fde is served this way; the index of pages is https://nextmove.md/llms.txt. # FDE jobs that plan what the customer deploys first in Chicago Canonical URL: https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs?region=chicagoland&role=strategist 11 forward deployed engineer jobs that plan what the customer deploys first in Chicago, from 9 employers. **11** postings · **9** companies Postings read on November 6, 2026 · Published October 30, 2026 · Updated November 6, 2026 [Thomson Reuters](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/thomson-reuters) ### [Senior Tax & Audit AI Engineer, FDE](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/6d5f1dea82405965) Chicago, IL · Brooklyn, NY · +3 more Hybrid New · 3d ago $102,200–$218,600 [Sia](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/sia) ### [Consultant / Senior Consultant - Forward-Deployed Business Analyst (Financial Services)](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/902d89236ae62ee4) Chicago, IL · Charlotte, NC · +5 more Hybrid 7d ago $80,000–$116,000 [Brillio](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/brillio) ### [Forward Deployed Strategist - R01572124](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/e4eb407d9811f40e) Chicago, IL · Minneapolis, MN · +2 more Remote 5w ago Pay not posted [Databricks](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/databricks) ### [Sr. Deployment Strategist, FDE - Financial Services](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/5f7c01ea53a2d533) Chicago, IL · Atlanta, GA · +3 more 6w ago $219,765–$302,220 [Salesforce](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/salesforce) ### [Forward Deployed Process Senior/Principal Process Consultant](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/67ce6e554b7cdd03) Chicago, IL · San Francisco, CA · +5 more 7w ago $117,200–$246,000 [Accordion](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/accordion) ### [Forward Deployed Engineer, Data & Analytics](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/e5a928ae59b6f49c) Chicago, IL · Atlanta, GA · +6 more On-site 4mo ago $145,000–$240,000 [Silkline](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/silkline) ### [Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/bde948d34a35bcff) Chicago, IL · Seattle, WA 6w ago $150,000–$225,000 [Endeavor](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/endeavor) ### [Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/f8f52f3f7c8a63bd) Chicago, IL On-site 3mo ago $125,000–$225,000 [Salesforce](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/salesforce) ### [Deployment Strategist - Public Sector, Nonprofit & Education](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/bf19150e88dcde14) Chicago, IL · Mclean, VA · +8 more Remote 3mo ago $134,750–$316,750 [Palantir](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/palantir) ### [Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/4db610fee594adf8) Chicago, IL Hybrid 55mo ago Pay not posted [Salesforce](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/salesforce) ### [Deployment Strategist (Mid/Senior Levels)](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/233c182f95f3a859) Chicago, IL · San Francisco, CA · +8 more Remote 4mo ago $134,750–$316,750 All 11 plan what the customer deploys first.
