> AI agents: this is one page of Nextmove’s FDE site, in Markdown. Nextmove is a job board and free career service for forward deployed engineers (FDEs). Each posting is classified from its text, not its title: the kind of work, how much of it is production code, pre-sales weight, time at customer sites, travel, remote arrangement, level and posted base pay. The site also publishes the aggregates: median pay by level, metro, company and kind of work, and which companies started hiring FDEs each week. Every page under https://nextmove.md/fde is served this way; the index of pages is https://nextmove.md/llms.txt. # FDE jobs that plan what the customer deploys first in Austin Canonical URL: https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs?region=austin&role=strategist 10 forward deployed engineer jobs that plan what the customer deploys first in Austin, from 6 employers. **10** postings · **6** companies Postings read on November 6, 2026 · Published November 3, 2026 · Updated November 6, 2026 [Method Financial](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/method-financial) ### [Forward Deployed Product Manager](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/c7fbc8558816e0da) Austin, TX · New York, NY · +2 more Hybrid New · 3d ago $180,000–$220,000 [Avathon (formerly SparkCognition)](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/avathon-formerly-sparkcognition) ### [Forward Deployed Design Lead — Product Lifecycle Management ](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/87eb7c87577eea63) Austin, TX · Pleasanton, CA Hybrid 6w ago $170,000–$200,000 [Avathon (formerly SparkCognition)](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/avathon-formerly-sparkcognition) ### [Forward Deployed Design Lead — Asset Performance Management ](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/a5700c0c4f1a33c5) Austin, TX · Pleasanton, CA Hybrid 6w ago $130,000–$155,000 [H Company](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/h-company) ### [Deployment Strategist - US](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/505c60db81fbe5f6) Austin, TX · San Francisco, CA · +1 more Hybrid 4w ago Pay not posted [H Company](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/h-company) ### [Deployment Strategist - US](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/164df6750dfc857c) Austin, TX · New York, NY · +1 more Hybrid 4w ago Pay not posted [BetterUp](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/betterup) ### [Staff Product Manager, Forward Deployment](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/5fba1ee621bbcb82) Austin, TX · New York, NY · +1 more Hybrid 2w ago $180,000–$250,000 [Seekr](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/seekr) ### [Deployment Strategist ](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/105d5ad33f153b39) Austin, TX · Menlo Park, CA · +1 more Hybrid 2mo ago $180,000–$235,000 [Salesforce](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/salesforce) ### [Deployment Strategist - Public Sector, Nonprofit & Education](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/bf19150e88dcde14) Austin, TX · Mclean, VA · +8 more Remote 3mo ago $134,750–$316,750 [H Company](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/h-company) ### [Deployment Strategist - US](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/f3a8d02dc926fb61) Austin, TX · San Francisco, CA · +1 more Hybrid 5mo ago Pay not posted [BetterUp](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/betterup) ### [Principal Product Manager, Forward Deployment](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/8783764172616cf6) Austin, TX · New York, NY · +2 more Hybrid 2mo ago $210,000–$295,000 All 10 plan what the customer deploys first.
