> AI agents: this is one page of Nextmove’s FDE site, in Markdown. Nextmove is a job board and free career service for forward deployed engineers (FDEs). Each posting is classified from its text, not its title: the kind of work, how much of it is production code, pre-sales weight, time at customer sites, travel, remote arrangement, level and posted base pay. The site also publishes the aggregates: median pay by level, metro, company and kind of work, and which companies started hiring FDEs each week. Every page under https://nextmove.md/fde is served this way; the index of pages is https://nextmove.md/llms.txt. # FDE jobs that plan what the customer deploys first asking for consulting experience at early-stage companies Canonical URL: https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs?background=consulting&companyStage=early&role=strategist 17 forward deployed engineer jobs that plan what the customer deploys first asking for consulting experience at early-stage companies, from 16 employers. **17** postings · **16** companies Postings read on November 6, 2026 · Published October 25, 2026 · Updated November 6, 2026 [Chestnut](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/chestnut) ### [Forward Deployed Product Manager](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/5797c3dfb19fc5f5) US Remote 6mo ago Pay not posted [Nilus](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/nilus) ### [Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) (NYC or Remote)](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/3ceb3b9c9ce49752) New York, NY Remote 13d ago Pay not posted [Artisan](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/artisan) ### [Forward Deployed GTM Architect](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/7c7c695bb3843447) San Francisco, CA · New York, NY On-site 3mo ago $130,000–$180,000 [Context](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/context) ### [Forward Deployed Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/5ff0c83dd2242853) San Francisco, CA · New York, NY On-site 6mo ago $180,000–$350,000 [Poetic](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/poetic) ### [Forward Deployed Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/f67c764ba3b6a1f9) San Francisco, CA · New York, NY On-site 9mo ago $160,000–$275,000 [Fundamental Research Labs](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/fundamental-research-labs) ### [Solutions Architect](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/d8c294af2a6f4460) US Remote 6mo ago Pay not posted [Auctor](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/auctor) ### [Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/a261fb2e096567b6) New York, NY On-site 6w ago $130,000–$230,000 [Concourse](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/concourse) ### [AI Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/5a318e02bbfe8cce) New York, NY On-site 2mo ago Pay not posted [Fulcrum](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/fulcrum) ### [AI Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/3b39f64b68bac2bf) San Francisco, CA On-site 2mo ago Pay not posted [Fundamental Research Labs](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/fundamental-research-labs) ### [AI Deployment Strategist - Houston ](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/1fb082404755c964) Houston, TX On-site 7w ago Pay not posted [Endeavor](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/endeavor) ### [Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/f8f52f3f7c8a63bd) Chicago, IL On-site 3mo ago $125,000–$225,000 [Ciridae](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/ciridae) ### [Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/ae950227da4dd580) San Francisco, CA On-site 4mo ago Pay not posted [August](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/august) ### [AI Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/6833631848861e2f) New York, NY On-site 5mo ago $100,000–$160,000 [Hanover Park](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/hanover-park) ### [Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/5e53137197166408) New York, NY On-site 6mo ago Pay not posted [Nevis](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/nevis) ### [Deployment Strategist, Enterprise](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/e9d84c5ad8b52253) New York, NY On-site 8mo ago Pay not posted [Sapien](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/sapien) ### [Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/a6c47957f1d535d0) New York, NY On-site 13mo ago $125,000–$200,000 [Vooma](https://nextmove.md/fde/companies/vooma) ### [Deployment Strategist](https://nextmove.md/fde/jobs/4c6c26232e5adc8a) San Francisco, CA On-site 19mo ago $150,000–$180,000 All 17 plan what the customer deploys first.
